Amanda Rago

Hi, I'm Amanda! I’m a Connecticut-based watercolor artist, art educator, and proud mom of two, with a lifelong love of creativity and connection. I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember—starting with childhood sketchbooks full of dreamy gowns and original designs, and continuing through every chapter of my life.

As a middle school art teacher, I’ve spent years encouraging others to find joy in creating, and that same joy comes through in my own work. My painting style is soft, bright, and playful—with clean lines and colorful details that can be customized to suit each couple’s vision.

What I love most about painting live is how it brings people together. There’s something truly magical about sharing the creative process with guests—watching their reactions, hearing their stories, and capturing the feeling of the day in real time. It’s such a beautiful way to celebrate love.

It’s an honor to create artwork that means so much to the people who receive it—and I feel especially grateful to offer guests a live portrait experience they’ll remember long after the celebration ends.
